爷爷,
It's been just a few days over a month since you've been gone. Life doesn't get easier. I still think about and miss you everyday. Still seems so unreal. You were an amazing man and still a legend. I am so proud to be your granddaughter. Wherever you may be, I hope it's wonderful. 一路好走.

"When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice." It's a Native American (I think Cherokee) expression. Seems like an appropriate sentiment for what you are feeling and the fact that your grandfather lived an inspired life.
